PP288: A Sketch Challenge

The sketch (#288) was designed by LeAnne.

I've settled on these soft blue/green colors for the panels after trying out a few different shades of the colors.

I was tempted to add some bling to the card, but I decided not to this time
- just to keep it clean and simple.

Paper: Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Certainly Celery, Soft Sky
Accessories: Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, Stitched Rectangular STAX (mft), Fancy Words Dies (rc)

PPA291: A Color Challenge

I made a birthday card for a friend of mine this weekend.

I used the fun colors Mary chose for this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge.

I coated the sentiment with Glossy Accents, and I think the shininess is a good contrast with the soft sponged images.

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink:Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Soft Sky
Accessories: Concentric Circles Stencil (mft), Die-namics Happy Birthday (mft), Stamping Sponges, Glossy Accents

Cherry blossom card

Cherry blossom season is coming soon in Japan, so I made a card for my aunt who lives there. She often writes to me and my husband,

This is one of my favorite vellum sheets, and it has a cherry blossom pattern.
I heat-embossed the rim of the oval in gold.

Ink: VersaMark, Early Espresso
Accessories: Ovals Collection Framelits, Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX (mft), Embossing Powder (gold), Cherry Blossom Stickers (mark's sticker), Dimentionals
